Terms of Service

Effective 2026. These terms are written in plain language. They are a template prepared for FormationFeed and should be reviewed by a lawyer before you rely on them in a dispute.

1. What we provide

FormationFeed ("we", "us") provides data files listing newly registered business entities, compiled from public records published by state governments and enriched with publicly available information. Files are delivered by email on a recurring schedule to paying subscribers and, on request, as free samples.

2. Your account and subscription

Subscriptions are billed in advance through Stripe, monthly or annually, and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the link in any delivery email; access continues until the end of the paid period. Prices may change with at least 14 days' notice by email; changes apply at your next renewal.

3. Refunds

See our refund policy. In short: a full refund on your first charge if you ask within 7 days.

4. Licence and acceptable use

You get a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the files for your own business's sales and marketing. You may load them into your own CRM and share them within your company. You may not resell, redistribute, publish or sublicense the files, or use them to build a competing product.

You are solely responsible for how you contact the businesses listed, including compliance with CAN-SPAM, the TCPA, state telemarketing and privacy laws, and do-not-call rules. We flag home-based and PO-box entities to help you exclude them, but we make no representation that any record may lawfully be contacted by any particular method.

5. Data accuracy

Source records are public filings that may contain errors, be amended, or be withdrawn by the filer or the state. Enrichment (website, phone, email, category, scores, summaries) is produced by automated systems and may be wrong. Files are provided "as is" without warranty of accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost deals.

7. Changes and termination

We may change these terms by posting an updated version and emailing subscribers. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates section 4, with a pro-rata refund of any prepaid period if the termination is not for breach.
